Historic Olde Town St. Helens Spray Park

St. Helens spray park is a project consisting of many organizations who have volunteered their help; Pacific Industrial Services, Inc, AKAAN Design, etc.,
working together to enhance the Columbia View Park in Olde Town St. Helens with a brand new state of the art
spray park!
Al Petersen with AKAAN Architecture + Design created the plans for the park with the help of the volunteer organizations.
The main attraction of this project will be a 12' stainless steel cut-out of Columbia County, with spray nozzles at the locations of all the larger communities surrounded by decorative stained concrete.
In addition to this, there will be four 18" tall cast-stone seats. Marked with respective cardinal direction in synch with the stainless steel map of Columbia County located in the outer ring of the
splash pad that will also provide lighting at night.
As you have no doubt noticed, there will be quite a bit of brick work done around the fountain, and this is where we plan to implement the memorial bricks. For those who would like to support the Spray Park,
we are selling bricks engraved with names and images to be used in the construction of the park (See below).

Funding for this project is from grants and donations and is relying heavily on the sales of memorial bricks. We feel the opportunity to have your name or message immortalized as a permanent fixture in a public park, and supporting the community through this fundraiser are great incentives to purchase one of our memorial bricks.
If you would like to volunteer for this project, please contact Jill Stockwell at 503.396.0506 between the hours of 9am and 5pm. You may also reach her via e-mail at
