Splash It Up!

 

The historic courthouse plaza in Olde Towne Saint Helens is about to get an upgrade, and we need the whole community to help make it happen. Splash It Up! is a combination of community efforts, originating with a Ford Leadership Class Project, that will install a spray park in the center of the plaza where a fountain once stood, brickwork to create a surrounding splash zone and wheelchair accessible path surrounding the existing Lewis & Clark art installation.

 

The Ford Leadership Program

 

SPLASH IT UP! is a project that came about as a result of the 2009 South Columbia County Ford Leadership Program. During this program we were to select a project that could be designed and implemented within a one year period of time. Several options were proposed and through a leadership process of selection, the SPLASH IT UP Spray Park is the result and the Courthouse Plaza Park In Old Town St. Helens was chosen for our Project Site.
